The Montauban en Scènes festival began this Thursday evening but continues throughout this weekend with concerts by Gims, Pierre de Maere and Soolking. Here’s what awaits you.
The Montauban en scène festival has been in full swing since this Thursday evening at the Jardin des Plantes. But don’t worry, if you missed the first two evenings with Grand Corps Malade, Sofiane Pamart, MC Solaar or even Hamza, there are still two left this weekend. This Saturday and Sunday, the appointment is given from 5 p.m. for three concerts each evening :
- Saturday June 22: 7 p.m. Mentissa | 9 p.m. Pierre de Maere | 10:30 p.m. Patrick Bruel
- Sunday June 23: 7 p.m. Soolking | 9 p.m. Gims | 10 p.m. Feder
Note that on Sunday, the 25-year-old Toulouse artist, Jethro, will launch the evening, at 6:45 p.m. He will have the chance to perform and show his talent to the public, with his influences ranging from R’n’B to gospel.
Discovery and urban springboard
In addition to these concerts on the main stage of the festival, Montauban in scenes highlights in its village – where you find a refreshment bar, a brasserie and a fast-food area – lesser-known artists in the “Discoveries and Urban Springboard” space.
Thus, in the Discoveries category, you will be able to find in concert the artist Develor Sunday at 5:15 p.m. Then, in the Urban Springboard category, So Fame (5:15 p.m.) and Ziano (6 p.m.) will occur, while Binchka will be on stage Sunday, at 6 p.m.
To get to the festival this weekend, Montauban en scène has everything planned. By car, Montauban, being ideally located at the crossroads of the A62 (Bordeaux/Toulouse) and the A20 (Paris/Toulouse), you will have no trouble getting to the Jardin des Plantes, because access to the city center is facilitated.
