The music festival is (officially) this Friday, June 21! Scenes will flourish everywhere, groups will take over the streets. This Friday and this weekend of June 22 and 23, depending on the municipalities, a quick overview of what awaits you, all around the pond.
Martigues
On the Jonquières side, this Friday we can count on DJs, reggae, saxophone, rock and funk along the quays, squares and streets; in Ferrières also, DJ and live band are expected. All from 6 p.m. and until late at night.
As for the Island, the Harmony, directed by Frédéric Touache, will play from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.; Students from the conservatory and those from Langevin high school, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the courtyard of the Island; rue des Cordonniers, a live duo will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight; and the Place de la Libération will vibrate to the sound of Latin rhythms…
But the three centers are not everything: at La Couronne from 7:30 p.m., at Saint-Julien from 5 p.m. and at Les Laurons from 6 p.m., we will also celebrate music!
Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts
Four scenes will be set up this Friday: in the church, the atmosphere will alternate between liturgical music, pop, lounge and covers of film music. Place Neuve, it will be of the French and international variety. Rue Bellefont, eclectic atmosphere with the BAAM group. And in the rue Simiot parking lot, we’ll go from variety to rock.
FOS on sea
More than ten musical groups will perform one after the other this Friday throughout the evening, in the streets of the city center and near the Saint-Sauveur church, between classical, variety, salsa, country or techno. . Among others!
Port-de-Bouc
On the Renaissance port and the Landrivon course, meet the conservatory’s current music class, the duo Syl.Y.Cat for international variety, the committed DJ Olivier Navarro and the Latin Arab flamenco of Mayel Jimenez.
Istres
In Istres, the program is busy this Friday: 10 stages scattered all around the city center on which countless musicians will perform all styles, from 7 p.m. to midnight!
