PETITION FOR A MAJOR INCREASE IN THE NATIONAL POLICE FORCES IN PETIT NOISY AND FOR THE FAIR AND DIGNIFIED REHOUSING OF THE ROMS CAMP INSTALLED IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

For several months, the level of insecurity has exploded in Petit-Noisy. With the fixation point of offenses and crimes by people based at Pont de Bondy.

So for months, the residents of Petit-Noisy have suffered:

– Removal of all public lighting,

– Unscrewing the digital codes,

– Disappearance of bicycle locks,

– Intrusions by forcing the gates with a screwdriver

– Vandalization of mailboxes,

– violent attack and robbing of a pregnant woman, two years ago;

– attack on a lady two weeks ago, followed from the Bondy bridge in broad daylight, in the morning, with the violent snatching of her bag, and subsequent burglary of her home while she filed a complaint;

– attack on a woman with her stroller to steal her cell phone;

– daily insults and threats, threats

– attack on a schoolboy with a knife to steal his phone

– theft of Basic fit users’ scooters

– stripping of teenagers who return home in socks…

To this already explosive situation was added the installation in May 2024 of a camp for Roma people on land belonging to the DRIF. The children, women and men who live there suffer from sanitary and sanitation conditions that are not acceptable within the framework of human dignity. Worse, children are often in dangerous situations by putting themselves near or literally on the neighboring railway tracks, leading to numerous honking horns from train drivers. Their deprivation leads to tensions with residents of Petit-Noisy.

THAT CAN NOT CONTINUE

To the Prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis, to the President of the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis, to the Mayors of Noisy-le-Sec, Bobigny and Bondy:

  • We remind you that we are NOT second-class citizens! This is not the case for us residents of Petit-Noisy as Roma people: we all have rights, rights to security, tranquility, health and cleanliness!

We require that:

1) an immediate redeployment of national police forces in the department and a subsequent and significant increase in the number of police officers in Petit-Noisy;

2) the immediate, dignified and fair rehousing of the Roma people’s camp to a place where they, children, women and men, can live in acceptable conditions of security, safety, health and safety;

3) the establishment of human private security agents on the DRIF land and neighboring land belonging to the MULLIEZ group in order to prevent any future illegal installation and any subsequent tensions;

4) the gradual but real increase in the presence of the municipal police of the towns of Noisy-le-Sec, Bobigny and Bondy around and within the Bondy Bridge in order to ensure, with the increased numbers of the national police, the presence of community policing;

5) that the Prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis receive a group of residents of Petit-Noisy as quickly as possible with a view to discussing the deadlines and modalities for the implementation of our requests.

Otherwise, we will organize a disruptive demonstration this Friday June 28, Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30 at Petit-Noisy.
