Seriously injured in the legs by the charge of a wild boar

Yesterday around 3 p.m., in currently unspecified circumstances, a 30-year-old hunter was charged by a wild boar in the territory of the commune of Mages (), in the middle of the Cévennes forest. The 30-year-old was seriously injured in his lower limbs by the animal's charge. The man was in the middle of the forest, 20 minutes from any road and significant resources had to be deployed by the firefighters to rescue him. No less than 3 vehicles, as well as their crews, were deployed for this intervention.

Helicoptered into the middle of the Cévennes forest

The injured person's condition required an air evacuation and the Civil Security Dragon 34 helicopter had to intervene and thus recovered the victim by helicopter. The injured man was admitted to a hospital in the region and for the moment nothing has filtered out on the exact extent of his injuries or the possible involvement of his vital prognosis. We of course send all our thoughts to this young hunter and his loved ones and pray for his recovery.
