The town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot is beginning to prepare for the arrival of the Tour de France on July 11.
Barely after the electoral campaign, Villeneuve will shift towards the organization of the big event at the start of summer: the arrival of the 12th stage of the Tour de France. Since the official announcement of the peloton’s passage through the Villeneuve bastide, a large yellow jersey has adorned the facade of the Town Hall, with Villeneuve’s slogan for the occasion, “It’s our Tour”.

Little by little, the pressure builds and the bastide gradually comes to the time of the biggest cycling race in the world. On social networks, agents of the City and the Villeneuvoise agglomeration joined in the game by dressing up in the colors of the Tour, while the schoolchildren multiplied the activities linked to the race.
