EAP, a small group of passionate friends

In recent years, Sunday gatherings have flourished throughout France. While there are many Sunday meetings, some of them are called Cars & Coffee. Coming from the United States, this protected designation represents the fact of meeting car enthusiasts around a coffee.

Cars & Coffee by EAP is an event born from a beautiful friendship. It’s a small group of friends who used to meet up in the Capital behind the wheel of beautiful cars. After spending time riding together, going to various events such as the Le Mans Classic or the Traversée de Paris, they decided to found their own club. From a group of friends, they move into an association. It will then be called Emotion Auto Prestige and has brought together, since November 14, 2008, several automobile enthusiasts.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there. The club welcomes more and more members thanks to word of mouth. The criterion for registering is simple: be the owner of a sports, classic or prestige car.

Frédéric Laure and Emmanuel Vigot, two members of EAP, discovered the concept of Cars & Coffee on Sunday mornings during a trip to California. Enthusiasts meet to drink coffee around their prestigious cars. The opportunity to share as enthusiasts. Convinced by this concept, the two members of EAP wish to import the concept to France and do so, with the authorization of Brent Fergusson to use the famous registered name. It was he who invented the concept in the United States in 2007. Since then, the EAP association has organized monthly meetings on Sunday mornings.

Cars&Coffee by EAP, the Sunday meeting place in Saint-Cloud

Once a month, on Sunday morning, EAP organizes what is now called Cars&Coffee by EAP. The phenomenon quickly grew and now the gatherings have become a regular meeting place for enthusiasts of Saint-Cloud, in Hauts de Seine. They come together every month with great pleasure to discuss cars.

Regarding the eligibility of cars, President Christine Caurant declares that “When you love cars, you love them all! “. Almost any prestige or collectible vehicle can be accepted. This can also be seen in the cars present, which range from the Jaguar E-Type to the latest Ferraris. The only thing that is required is to be a member. To do this, simply register, free of charge, on the site internet de EAP.

The last edition was held on Sunday May 12. The little Sunday meeting appeals to informed enthusiasts as well as families or the simply curious.

An annual meeting

If the meetings are the same every month, EAP organizes a slightly special Cars&Coffee once a year. It’s Cars&Colors, which will take place this year on Sunday June 23. In addition to the usual coffee, this time participants will have access to catering including various food trucks.

The gathering will extend over the entire day rather than being limited to the morning and the various partners of the association and exhibitors will be present to liven up the day. This entire day will take place in front of 171 Rue de Buzenval in Saint-Cloud, near the racecourse, the usual meeting place for club members.

The event promises to be, as its name suggests, colorful and is eagerly awaited by members of the EAP association. After that, the members of EAP are meeting for the next Cars&Coffee on September 29 and October 20, always at the same address.
