The cars of sports instructors at the Colomiers football club, in Haute-Garonne, were set on fire in October. The victims suspect revenge by the players' parents. Violence has become common in amateur clubs.
For ten days, the little players of the Colomiers football club (Haute-Garonne) had not returned to the field. For the budding champions, no more training or matches, because their educators have exercised their right to withdraw. On October 29, their vehicles were set on fire.
Kader Tabet's house was damaged. The husband and father of four children will be relocated with his family. In those around the club, we suspect parents who are unhappy that their children were not retained in the team. “We are here to convey values to the children in our care, we don’t expect that”deplores the sports instructor. Violence is taking hold at the edge of amateur fields: from tensions between parents of players to general fights, incidents are multiplying across the four corners of the country.
