Did a 38-year-old man, arrested in December 2023, commit multiple rapes, as five women claim? Or are these “atypical” but “consensual” sexual practices? Placed in pre-trial detention, he requested his release this Tuesday before the Montpellier court, mentions Free Midday.

The complainants explain “having been abused”, detailing humiliating practices, forced relationships, beatings, vomiting, manipulation, and an attraction to fragile young women. One of them explains having been burned with a cigarette.

“I ask you to put morality aside”

The defendant mentions “atypical sexual practices” and denies the rapes. “I have the feeling of having dealt with immature people, who wanted to do it and then did not take responsibility,” he pleads, in his comments reported by the regional daily. “I have always been extremely clear on practices and in the exchange. It has already happened that women have withdrawn their consent during intercourse and I have always respected it.”

The gendarmes undertook checks with the 300 women with whom he was in contact on Meetic or Badoo. “I ask you to take great precautions in this matter,” emphasizes his lawyer and “to put morality aside. » After his arrest at his workplace, the defendant was fired from the establishment welcoming people with disabilities, of which he was the director.
