Néo Lot-et-Garonnais, Arnaud Aubadie Ladix has just founded Marc, a company specializing in the sale of autonomous and connected lockers. Its target: local players, traders or communities.

In Agenais, as everywhere in France, connected lockers are growing like flowers. Arnaud Aubadie Ladix, a former salesman, decided to ride the trend. The latter, recently from Lot-et-Garonnais, has just launched Marc, a company specializing in the design, assembly and marketing of connected and autonomous lockers. Its goal: to enable local businesses to respond to new consumer trends. “Today, click & collect works very well. With food lockers, people who work can come and get something to eat at the end of their day, outside store opening hours,” explains the entrepreneur.

Butchers, cheesemakers, local producers…

The quadra particularly wishes to encourage the short circuit by working alongside butchers, charcutiers, cheese makers and local producers. “The lockers, for example, allow a butcher to avoid waste by placing their unsold goods in the lockers,” explains Arnaud Aubadie Ladix. But its service is not limited to food.

The former salesman also offers his lockers to local authorities who would be interested in developing, for example, a system of deposit lockers in their towns. “This is done a lot on tourist sites, to allow people to visit a site without being charged,” indicates the founder of Marc, to whom the idea of the lockers came while he himself was on vacation with his family. Its products may also be of interest to municipal swimming pools which would like to modernize their deposit system.

“It’s generally an investment that pays off in less than a year,” says the entrepreneur, based in Frespech. With the pre-order period completed, it is preparing to deliver a first round of lockers to its customers in September and hopes in the meantime to convince more people to join the adventure of connected lockers.
