TORONTO, June 18, 2024 /CNW/ – Sanofi Canada is pleased to announce the names of the winners of the 32e annual Sanofi Biogenius Canada competition and Sanofi Biogenius Canada 2024 grant recipients. Facilitating access to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education has long been a priority for Sanofi Canada. With this competition and these grants, we hope to prepare the next generation of scientists and encourage more young people to take the path of scientific discovery.

The Sanofi Biogenius Canada competition celebrates the best projects in health, biotechnology and life sciences from across the country and encourages students to be curious and carry out innovative STEM projects.

The Sanofi Biogenius Canada Grants Program is awarding four public high schools a $50,000 grant to advance STEM education. This amount is used to renovate classroom laboratories, renew scientific equipment and expand course offerings to improve learning.

The Sanofi Biogenius Canada competition
The 32e annual competition took place as part of the 62e edition of the Youth Science Canada regional and pan-Canadian Science Fair, held in Ottawa (Ontario). Nine Sanofi Biogenius Canada Special Awards were awarded by Sanofi Canada in the junior, intermediate and senior categories.
