The members of the board of directors of Udcof 82 (Departmental Union of committees and organizers of festivities of Tarn-et-Garonne) met recently, like almost every beginning of the month, to discuss the feedback from their departmental congress which took place on Saturday October 5, in the Jean-Bourdette room, in Montbeton, and to reflect on the future of this important event for the festive world of Tarn-et-Garonne.
All members of the board of directors have had nothing but very good feedback, whether for the general assembly, the third Festi'Salon or the gala meal with the superb line-up of artists who performed in the evening .
Faced with the increase in the cost of such an event which brings together between 350 and 450 people every year, the administrators plan to organize a statutory general meeting every year, at the end of September-beginning of October, and every two years, a Festi'Salon and a congress, alternating with the Fncof national congress, which will also take place every two years. The reflection is underway. All committees and associations belonging to Udcof 82 can send their wishes, opinions and remarks to the president of Udcof, Daniel Brustet ([email protected]).
Furthermore, in 2026, Udcof 82 will celebrate its 50th anniversary, an opportunity to party even more than usual. Therefore, at the end of September-beginning of October, only the statutory general meeting will take place with, if possible, a cocktail dinner and musical entertainment, by reservation. The awarding of rewards to volunteers will, of course, be continued.
