Except that this change of position is not unanimous within his party. As PS senator Laurence Rossignol raises on X (ex-Twitter), 31 RN deputies have “not not voted for abortion at the congress in Versailles ».

During the vote on the constitutionalization of abortion in France on March 4 in Versailles, only 46 RN deputies out of 88 voted in favor, and the speech of the RN vice-president of the Assembly provoked boos from the hemicycle. 11 had voted against, 20 had abstained and 11 were simply absent. It is therefore the group most opposed to the text (at LR, 12 deputies voted against and 4 abstained).
