It all started well, Friday June 14to celebrate the music festival in Gosné (Ille-et-Vilaine).

The group Odyssey on stage and the DJ Gurguse were ready to host a great evening.

The Gosnéans were starting to arrive on the church square and the volunteers of the festival committee were busy fulfilling orders for sausages and fries.

And then everything changed: rain, a short circuit and all the equipment became unusable.

The organizers were devastated.

Hopefully the insurance companies will take the damage into account.

Elsie Piquion, president of the festival committee.

But the organizers were able to benefit from equipment loaned to them and pieces of music could be played in front of the public who remained on site.

Laurent Friob, vice-president of the festival committee, relates:

Friday evening, despite an electrical problem which caused an unexpected drop in sound volume and very unpredictable weather, many of you came and stayed to enjoy the evening. We would like to thank you warmly. Your presence and support in the face of these unforeseen events go straight to our hearts. The high attendance reassures us that these friendly moments are awaited by Gosneans and the enthusiastic feedback we received proves the extent to which the organization of the event was praised and appreciated.

The festival committee is meeting for the evening of Saturday July 13 has Gosné.
