From disillusionment to dream. Not drafted in the first or second round, unlike his five compatriots (Zaccharie Risacher, Alexandre Sarr, Tidjane Salaün, Pacôme Dadiet and Melvin Ajinça), Armel Traoré is however not forced to give up his NBA dream. This Thursday, June 27, to everyone’s surprise, the ADA Blois winger signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Test yourself this summer

Armel Traoré will thus be tested this summer by the American franchise where LeBron James and, now, his son Bronny, drafted in 55, play.e position this Thursday. The Frenchman, who is expected to participate in the Summer League in Las Vegas, from July 12 to 22, will have the opportunity to demonstrate his full potential.

As a reminder, the Blois native has already been seen by nine NBA franchises since the end of May, making several workoutstypes of private training.

The first ADA player in the NBA

This contract is a great reward for Armel Traoré, former teammate of Victor Wembanyama and Bilal Coulibaly at Boulogne-Levallois. But also for the Loir-et-Cher club of ADA Blois which is thus sending its very first player to the NBA.
