Trap on the Coco.gg site. Seven boys and girls, aged 14, 16 or 17, were indicted on Thursday in Versailles (Yvelines) for aggravated extortion before being released under judicial supervision. They are suspected of having, last March and April near Coignières and Maurepas, attacked six men, aged 34 to 54, whom they had ambushed by posing as a very young woman.
On March 4, a man, aged around fifty, pushed open the door of the Élancourt police station to recount his misadventure. He made an appointment with a very young woman on the Coco site, well known for hosting prostitution ads.
The meeting point is located in a corner between Élancourt and Maurepas in the evening. He is greeted by a group who threaten him with a knife and a tear gas bomb. “These very young thieves humiliate him, steal his car keys and force him to withdraw money from the ATM,” specifies a source close to the case.
The suspects downplay the seriousness of their actions
Investigations, carried out by the local judicial police service in Élancourt, made it possible to identify three other men who were attacked in the same way. Telephone and video surveillance reveal that four of the suspects are all educated in a class in the same establishment.
On June 11, seven teenagers were arrested at their homes in Trappes, Magny-les-Hameaux, Plaisir, Élancourt and Maurepas. Only one high school student denies it outright. But his friends and alleged accomplices confess. They minimize the violence of their actions.
“For them, it was a game. They read the investigation in Le Parisien, on this Coco site and launched into this affair which brought them a few thousand euros. Which represents a nice haul for teenagers.” The rest of the investigations will involve the identification of other people who could have suffered the actions of this gang.
