Sunday at 6 p.m., the submission of candidates to the prefecture for the early legislative elections ended. The 577 battles are officially launched two weeks before the first round on June 30.

Reconquest announces 330 candidates invested

The far-right Reconquest movement will only present candidates in 330 constituencies out of 577 to favor “the architects of national unity” on the right, announced its president Éric Zemmour.

Divided LR announces its nominations

The Les Républicains party, through a press release signed in particular by President Michèle Tabarot, confirms that “nearly 400 candidates” will wear the LR label in “93 departments and in the constituencies of French people abroad”.

For his part, Éric Ciotti, reinforced by the justice system in his position as president of LR, and his supporters within LR, claim “at least 62 candidates”.

Adrien Quatennens gives up

The outgoing deputy from the North, convicted of domestic violence, gave up his candidacy in his Northern constituency. He is replaced by the co-host of Jeunes Insoumis, Aurélien Le Coq, who will have to deal with the dissident candidacy of feminist activist Amy Bah.
