For those who are not leaving Valencia this summer, the City has planned a range of musical and cultural events to keep them busy! From Thursday June 20 to Friday September 20, Valencia has planned a rich program of events in many places.

Music

After welcoming the Olympic flame on Thursday June 20 in town, it’s time for the music festival the next day. The atmosphere will continue to be good at the beginning of July with the festival on the Champ! which will be accompanied by several off concerts. On August 11, 18 and 25, don’t miss the new edition of Jazz on the lawn at Jouvet Park which will offer three free evenings.

Reading

From August 9 to 18, several reading times will be offered at Jouvet Park and Châteauvert Park with the Phosphoréscente company. From June 26 to July 3, the Valencia Museum will organize the “Family Wednesdays” event around books and stories. From July 11 to 25, the city’s media libraries are holding “Thursday under the magnolias” at Jouvet Park. The opportunity to come and listen to stories with the family in the open air.
