There Lot prefecture just published this Sunday June 16, 2024the list of candidates for legislative elections of 1er tour, Sunday June 30, 2024.

These legislative elections for Lot include 12 candidates, including 9 candidates and 3 female candidates, 2 women out of 1time constituency (Cahors) and 1 woman out of 2e constituency (Figeac).

6 candidates in the 1st constituency and 6 candidates in the 2nd constituency

In the first constituency of the Lot, for these 2024 legislative elections, there are 6 candidates and in the second constituency there are also 6 candidates.

During the previous ballot for the 2022 legislative elections, 22 candidates were registered on the starting line. The Lot had 9 candidates facing Aurélien Pradié outgoing deputy on 1time constituency and 11 candidates facing Huguette Tiegna, outgoing MP, on the 2e constituency.

Support for the New Popular Front candidates

The two candidates invested under the label “New Popular Front” Elsa Bougeard (1time constituency) and Christophe Proença (2e constituency), are supported by a coalition including Les Écologists, La France insoumise, the French Communist Party and the Socialist Party, as well as Place publique, Génération·s, the Republican and Socialist Left, the New Anticapitalist Party and the Ecosocialist Left.
