A call for witnesses was launched by the national police after the disappearance of an eleven and a half year old boy. Ethan Glaser left the family home, located in a residential area of ​​Gap, on Saturday June 15 around 8:20 p.m.

Ethan Glaser is 1m50 tall

Ethan Glaser has an athletic build and is 1m50 tall. The child has brown hair, dark brown eyes, protruding ears and a small scar between the eyebrows (chickenpox). He usually wears “Harry Potter” type glasses. When he disappeared, Ethan was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt or hooded jacket, light gray tracksuit bottoms and green flip-flops.

According to our information, the eleven-year-old boy climbed from the first floor onto scaffolding installed as part of the work to reach the street. The child was then spotted around 9 p.m. on video surveillance images from the City of Gap in the area of ​​the SNCF station.

The trail of an escape to Nice?

“He left his home voluntarily the day before Father’s Day, the trail of the escape is being investigated,” says a source associated with the research. The child could in fact have tried to reach the Nice region where his father lives. Checks are, among other things, carried out at the Nice SNCF station.

A police tracking dog expected in Gap

A police dog pair with a Saint-Hubert tracking dog is expected in Gap during Sunday evening. The specialized unit arrives by helicopter from Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme).

“Research began on Saturday evening in Gap by the national police with the help of an avalanche search dog from the Hautes-Alpes gendarmerie,” specifies Marion Lozach’meur, public prosecutor.
