A dramatic motocross accident occurred this Sunday, November 10, 2024, around 4 p.m., in the town of Montblanc, in the Gers department. An 18-year-old young man was the victim of a heavy fall which caused him serious injuries.
Evacuated in absolute emergency
Firefighters from Samatan, Isle Jourdain and Lombez mobilized quickly to help him. The medical team immediately medicalized the injured person before transferring him, in a state of absolute emergency, to the Auch hospital center.
An investigation opened by the gendarmes
Following this accident, an investigation was opened to shed light on the precise circumstances of this fall. Law enforcement will try to determine whether mechanical, human, or terrain-related factors may have contributed to this dramatic incident.
