As the Black Devils of Combani prepare to fly to Paris this evening at 7:20 p.m. to compete in the 7th round of the French Football Cup against US Crépy on November 16, the club finds itself faced with a real administrative blockage.
Indeed, 7 regular players may not be on the trip due to their administrative status.
These are in fact foreign nationals in an irregular situation. On this subject, the club has issued a request to the prefecture for several weeks to obtain a pass for each of them. This administrative pass would allow them to travel with the club, but to date, no favorable response has been notified to them.
You should also know that the Mahoraise football league allows players in an irregular situation to participate in local competitions. Upon simple presentation of a birth certificate, a license is issued to them. Note that no other Mahoraise league allows this particularity specific to football.
History has already been revealed for other Mahorean teams which found themselves in this same situation and passes had already been established for the players concerned.
This year it appears that the prefecture is, until now, not very inclined to establish these famous sesames.
In the meantime, the club hopes to obtain the green light from the State services in order to leave in full force to try to secure a qualification for the 8th round against a Regional 3 team which remains within the reach of our Devils , residents of our local Regional 1.
Will the Black Devils leave in their entirety for France this evening from Dzaoudzi airport? The response live from 7 p.m. in your television news on Mayotte la 1ère with Papinot Zaidani and Jaïdi Maoulida.
