Five police officers intervened this Thursday, June 13 around 6:30 p.m.after having spotted a drug transaction at a dea pointl, as reported by our colleagues from the Metropolitan. It was while some of them tried to approach the individuals to control them and the others remained near their cars, that the police were subjected to stone throwing from other individuals. A fifteen individuals appeared and started throwing stones at the agents of the Specialized Field Brigade (BST). As for the suspects, they managed to flee.
A police officer hospitalized
During the attack, one of the agents was injured in the head by a stone thrown from a building around the scene of the operation. He was quickly transported to the Montpellier University Hospital and was suffering from three centimeter open wound on the skull. Finally, a complaint has been filed and an investigation has been opened in order to quickly find and identify the perpetrators.
