On Sunday June 23, the city of Alès hosted a new edition of its famous “Crazy Run”, an original family sporting event which energized the city center.
This fun, untimed 4.5 km race brought together many participants, all enthusiastic about having fun and being colored with joy.
To enrich the friendly and festive atmosphere, many participants decided to appear in disguise, thus adding an extra touch of cheerfulness to the event.
The day started at 9 a.m. with the opening of the departure village on the Place des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance. Participants were able to prepare while enjoying the lively and joyful atmosphere. At 10:30 a.m., a collective warm-up with music brought the runners together, immersing them in an enthusiastic atmosphere and ready to take on the challenge of the course.

Kick-off was at 11 a.m., and throughout the route, runners passed through areas where colored powders were thrown, creating a veritable rainbow of happiness with each kilometer covered.
When all the participants arrived, a large release of colored powder was organized, always to the rhythm of music and in a festive atmosphere.
