The end of the evening almost turned into drama in front of the disco from Pierrelaye (Val-d’Oise). This Sunday, November 10, 2024, it was 6 a.m. when firefighters and police officers were dispatched in large numbers following the gunshots.
According to the first elements collected, two men are presented in front of the establishment installed in the commercial area of Patte-d'Oie d'Herblay of which they would have been postponed a little earlier in the night.
He opens fire with a handgun
One of them then took out a handgun and opened fire, wounding a security guard in the leg. The shooter was quickly controlled by other security agents who, however, were not able to catch up with the second individual who immediately fled.
Quickly on scene, firefighters provided first aid to the 29-year-old nightclub employee. The latter was taken urgently to Pontoise hospital.
His accomplice on the run
Presenting bruises on the facethe shooter was also hospitalized. The 27-year-old was taken into custody after being examined. The latter, known to the police, was to be interviewed during the day by investigators in order to determine the exact origin of this violence. As for his accomplice, he was still wanted at the end of the morning.
