The Louis Malle cinema in Prayssac is now fully renovated, with the two screening rooms open from November 16, 2024a glass gallery, a new facade, a relaxation area, a new heating system, an enlarged reception hall, and brand new equipment.

The work began in December 2023, and the new 80-seat room has been in operation since August 21: the public has already been able to enjoy its comfort, both from the seats and from the projection and sound system.

205 seats for the main Prayssac cinema hall

The original room, completely redone, now holds 205 seats and is accessible to people with reduced mobility, just like the new one.

Everything to welcome “Cinédélices” in the best conditions. Indeed, it is in Prayssac that Ciné + has chosen to set up its hedonistic festival for 2 years. For his 13th^e edition, it will take place from November 21 to 24, with an exciting program: 4 days of surprises, around twenty films screened including 11 previews, the famous movie-meal evening…

On the program of the Cinédélices festival

The festival starts on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. with the preview of the documentary “Once upon a time Michel Legrand”, in the presence of director David Hertzog Dessites, which will be preceded by an aperitif at 8 p.m., for a evening tribute to this great musician. The film was also selected in the Cannes Classics 2024 category.

November 22 will be the inaugural evening of the festival with a cocktail prepared by Monique Valette at Espace Santamaria, followed by the screening of a film at the cinema.

On Saturday, November 23, the gourmet evening “Let's dine at the cinema” will be the opportunity to discover the film “En fanfare” by Emmanuel Courcol, with Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Lottin and Sarah Suco, and to enjoy a meal prepared by the caterer Mandra.

This year again, Ciné +, supported by the municipality of Prayssac, the Community of Communes of the Lot Valley and the Vignoble and the Louis Malle cinema team, does not deviate from its reputation by offering a festive edition rich in discoveries , and offers a beautiful celebration of the 7th art.

The Louis Malle cinema continues to organize screenings for schools and leisure centers, as well as movie snacks, particularly during the end-of-year celebrations.

An official inauguration of the new Louis Malle cinema will take place in January.
