“Locally intense” showers in Corsica
“A few more residual showers” will fall “around the Mediterranean” this Saturday, notes Météo-France in its 6 a.m. bulletin.
“On the eastern coast of Corsica, locally intense showers develop during the day until the morning of Sunday with accumulations over the episode of between 80 to 120 mm,” it is specified.
“Significant accumulations are possible, which could justify an increase in vigilance,” warns the meteorological institute. “It is appropriate to monitor the evolution of vigilance which could be worsened.”
