Thus, a whole river of memories passes by. Only child, she loses her father to peritonitis poorly cared for at 18 months. “My maternal grandfather took us in and raised me as his 13th child. In winter, we mounted our brick heated by the fireplace in newspaper. My grandmother fed me the stew. »

She married after the war of 39-45

At the age of 5, Paule was enrolled at the Sainte-Angèle school, with the Ursulines. “For my certificate, my grandfather gave me a bicycle. At Talensac school, for three years, I learned business, sewing and typing. »

After the World War IIhappier events will brighten up the life of Paule, who will marry Louis Gergaud in 1947. They will have two children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
