“Cooking competition around ugly fruits and vegetables. » As part of the tenth anniversary of the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Natural Park (PNR), the green resort of Elven, rich in natural and cultural heritage, and an early member of the Biodiversity Atlas, is organizing an event culinary in connection with the “Anti-waste” challenge. This event will take place on Saturday, November 16 at the organic restaurant “L'Allée Champs” run by restaurateur Jean-Yves Roesch who will show how to cook so-called “ugly” fruits and vegetables.

During this challenge, four teams of three to five people will have to prepare two original recipes, a dish and a dessert, using these imperfect products, collected or harvested locally, which will be made available to them. The teams will then have to present their culinary creations in front of a local jury made up of five people. They will also have to write a poem including three words like “terroir”, “twisted”, ugly”, “antiwaste”. The winners will have the mission of defending the colors of Elven during the grand intercommunal final which will be held on the 1st December at Chorus Park, in .
