Very bad surprise on Saturday June 8 in the morning for Gilles Bouscal and his son Jonathan, farmers in the town of Senrgues. When they arrived to visit their herd, they found the animals panicked and agitated.

They quickly understood the reasons when they discovered, traumatized, the corpse of a small 2-month-old calf savagely attacked, during the night from Friday to Saturday, at the throat.
The gendarmerie notified the French Biodiversity Office which came at the beginning of the afternoon to make the first observations and take the usual samples. They also looked for traces of suspicious paws which would help to raise suspicions between an attack by a wolf or a stray dog.
