On the occasion of the Fountain Festival and the Solemnity, the Old Town of Murten will be closed to traffic from June 21, 5 p.m., to June 23, 8:15 a.m., communicates the Murten Municipal Council.

On June 23, the historic Morat shooting will also take place. The procession will leave the Old Town at 8 a.m. to reach the Bodemünzi. From 10 a.m., all roads and paths in the shooting or danger zone will be closed. Residents – Neugut, im Loch, Craux, Münchenwiler, Bahnhofstrasse, Bruyère, Gurwolfstrasse – are asked to strictly adhere to closing times due to the danger of shooting. Münchenwiler will only be accessible from Prehl/Fischergässlein, Salvenach and Cressier.
