This November 9 and 10, 2024, it's the meeting place for gourmands in Bigorre with the Chocolate and Sweets Fair. Organized by the Lions Clubs Tarbes Adour for the 14th year, it allows you to mobilize for a good cause. This year, all funds raised from the €2 entry ticket will be donated to the children's service at Lannemezan Hospital.

A mouth-watering program.

During these two days, visitors will be able to discover and taste the new products and specialties of the exhibitors. They will be able to attend advice workshops, discover a chocolate fountain and a bar area with different colorful chocolate-based mocktails.

Students from the Métiers Lautréamont high school in Tabes will be present with their pastry teachers to taste their creations, while a parade of chocolate dresses with Miss Hautes-Pyrénées 2024 and her runners-up will be offered.

Finally, a raffle will be organized every hour and children will be able to participate in a drawing competition.

See you on Saturday November 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday November 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Halle Marcadieu in Tarbes for the 14th edition of the Salon du Chocolat et des Douceurs.

An event during which you can discover the work of Xavier Berger.

Xavier Bergé, chocolatier Meilleur Ouvrier de France.

Xavier Bergé, chocolatier in Tarbes and Pau with a love of taste and good products. A love that comes from a unique family that includes three MOFs.

Louis Shepherd, the grandfather who launched Royalty around sixty years ago, a well-known address in the Tarbes, was the best worker in France's ice cream parlour. Patrick Berger, Louis' son and Xavier's father, is France's best pastry worker, while Xavier was named France's best chocolate worker in 2022.

Thanks to a careful assembly of cocoa beans and a developed artistic sense, he offers chocolate treats that delight gourmets. For the raw material, he likes to use South America, whose cocoa beans have an aromatic profile that he likes. You can discover his talent during the Salon du Chocolat et des Douceurs de Tarbes, or throughout the year in one of his boutiques in Pau (3, Place de la Libération) or Tarbes (7, rue Maréchal Foch) .
