The suspect was arrested. Wednesday November 6, 2024, a policewoman was slightly injured to the head after having been thrust during a controlin the early evening in Les Ulis (Essonne).
The suspect was riding a scooter without a helmet or light
The events occurred around 7:30 p.m., at rue de l'Armagnac, “a place known for drug and cigarette trafficking contraband” according to a police source.
While police officers from the Ulis night brigade carry out checks on two men, one third man will attract the attention of the officers.
“He arrived very quickly by scooterwithout light or helmet”, relates this same source.
A blow to the head
The police then decide to check him, but the man, drunk, tries to escape.
“He pushed the policewoman who is fallen backwards before her head hit the ground,” details the police source, according to whom the peacekeeper “very briefly lost consciousness.”
Taken to a hospital and examined by a doctor, she suffered from headaches and nausea.
A knife found on the suspect
A second police officer in the crew suffers from slight injuries to the right elbow and knee.
Immediately arrested, the suspect, aged 32, was placed in a sobering up cell. On him, the police found a table knife.
According to the police source, the scooter on which he was riding was reported as stolen.
On Facebook, the Alliance Police nationale 91 union wishes a “speedy recovery” to the injured police officer.
