The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department (SPAL) arrested Martin Pillay, 43, on suspicion of voyeurism and extortion. He is asking for the population’s help to find other women who are among the thirty or so victims allegedly caused by this man.

The suspect allegedly filmed his sexual partners without their knowledge and then threatened to publish these images on the Internet.

The investigation, which began last December, allowed police to learn that at least 34 women were victims of Martin Pillay. THE SPAL was able to speak with three of them and calls on other victims, or any other person with information on this subject, to contact the police at 450 463-7192. This is the reason why the SPAL broadcasts Martin Pillay’s modus operandi and publishes his photo.

He appeared Monday at the Longueuil courthouse and faces several charges, including voyeurism, solicitation of sexual services for payment, extortion and possession of a prohibited weapon.

In exchange for certain elements, he threatened that he would release the images, so this is a matter that is worrying.

A quote from Ghyslain Vallières, spokesperson for SPAL

The suspect, a resident of the Montreal borough of Saint-Laurent, has a criminal history of theft, fraud, robbery, indecent actions and failure to comply with an order. He has tattoos of a gun and a lion on his chest.
