Tata – Projects to strengthen health services, supply drinking water and promote tourism were launched on Friday in the province of Tata, as part of a visit by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, at the head of an import government delegation.

In this context, Mr. Akhannouch opened a local health center in the town of Tissint, recently upgraded. With a covered area of ​​445 m² and targeting a population of 8,600 people, the center has three consultation rooms, an examination room, a treatment and injection room and a room for the program SMI/SR.

Still in the commune of Tissint, the Head of Government launched work to renew and extend the drinking water network for the 20 communes of the province of Tata. Executed by the National Agency for the Development of Oasis Zones and Argan Trees (Andzoa), this program aims to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the douars of the 20 communes of the province of Tata by generalizing access to drinking water and guaranteeing its safety and quality thanks to a more efficient supply network.

In the city of Tata, Mr. Akhannouch opened an exhibition and sales area for handicraft products and attended the presentation of a series of tourist projects (Iriqui National Park, Chellal d’Agouliz area and Amonde site).

The exhibition and sales space for handicraft products strengthens basic infrastructure in the handicraft and tourism sectors at the provincial level, thus contributing to the creation of wealth and the promotion of the social and solidarity economy.

As for the Iriqui National Park Regeneration and Development Project, it aims to improve tourist infrastructure and create jobs, while the Chellal d’Agouliz area tourist upgrading project aims to strengthen tourist infrastructure and promote tourism-related activities.

Regarding the development and tourist upgrading project of the Amonde site, in Kasbat Sidi Abdellah ben M’barek, it aims to highlight the historical and cultural depth of the area and promote the wealth of oasis and monumental heritage.

On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, underlined, in statements to the press, that the province of Tata, which is full of cultural and natural potential and tourism, will have a leading role in the tourism roadmap, particularly in the Sahara and Oasis offer and that of cultural tourism, emphasizing the need to make the potential of this region better known.

Referring to the launch of the exhibition and sale space for handicraft products in Tata and three tourism projects, the minister considered that these projects are likely to give a new dynamic to the province, which will contribute to promoting tourism and creating employment opportunities.

Referring to the two-day visit of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, accompanied by a large government delegation, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, noted that the projects with a social scope in particular launched in this province, cover several areas between health, drinking water and irrigation.

These projects, he added, are part of the development policy led by HM King Mohammed VI for 25 years, aimed at enabling all Moroccans to acquire the means of a decent life, infrastructure and social structures allowing them to exercise economic activities in better conditions.

According to Mr. Lekjaa, the integrated development process in Morocco aims to ensure spatial justice and reduce disparities between the different regions of the Kingdom, noting that it is a model that reflects the avant-garde vision of SM King Mohammed VI and an exceptional royal development policy in its design and implementation on the ground.

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, launched and visited, Thursday and Friday, a series of development projects in local authorities in the Tata Province.

The delegation accompanying Mr. Akhannouch includes the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khaled Ait Taleb, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, the Wali of the Souss-Massa region, governor of the Agadir prefecture Ida Outanane, Saaïd Amzazi, the President of the Souss-Massa regional council, Karim Achengli and the governor of Tata province, Salaheddine Amal.
