After two days of competition, Cyrille Auffret and Jérôme Gourmelen, respectively manager of the pizzeria La main à la pâte in Trégunc (Finistère) and the starred chef of Ar Men Du de Névez, distinguished themselves for the pizza world championship which took place in Menton on November 5 and 6, 2024.
“We didn’t come to Menton for nothing”
They won four prizes alone: first place for Jérôme Gourmelen and second place for Cyrille Auffret for sweet pizza, who also took second place on the podium for classic pizza.

But, as a duo, they are both world pizza champions with their Breizh Hato, made with Monts-d'Arrée pigeon and Japanese citrus. “We are really on cloud nine. We didn't come to Menton for nothing, it's a great reward after a great preparation. All our pizzas were rewarded, we are really happy,” confides Cyrille Auffret.
Now they will have to expand their shelves.
