Enjoy a tasty tea time
Almost hidden a few steps from the imposing Madeleine Church, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, is the Lucas Carton establishment. It is in this place with its delicate decoration and cozy atmosphere that pastry chef Sylvain Goujon offers an excellent tea time. Rich in his London experience, the one who passed through the kitchens of the Four Seasons Ten Trinity Square London and studied with Anne-Sophie Pic, competes in imagination to delight our taste buds. To do this, he imagines a series of ultra-desirable sweet dishes that he combines with a profusion of aromatic herbs. We love the scones (to die for) accompanied by lemon curd and homemade cranberry jam, the tarte tatin flavored with mace and bergamot or even the lemon and buckwheat madeleine. Prepared with care and served by attentive staff, this tea time keeps its promise of a delicious suspended moment.
Tea-time at Lucas Carton, 9, place de la Madeleine, Paris 8th. Price: €50/person. More information and reservations by telephone on 01 42 65 22 90 or by email [email protected]
