The local school-business committee (CLEE) of Gard Rhone met this Thursday, November 7.
The local school-business committee (CLEE) of Gard Rhone, led by Thierry Delaigue, principal of the Albert-Einstein high school, and Julien Feja, president of the D&S group, is a body which allows the bringing together of actors from the educational and economic world in order to connect professionals with students. Thursday, November 7, an assembly bringing together different actors from the CLEE du Gard Rhone was held at the Albert-Einstein high school in order to exchange new ideas around this system.
The principal of the establishment recalled that some 11,000 students from primary to high school are affected in the area: “This is a large population that we can raise awareness about the business world and the reality of the professions. » The idea is above all to facilitate exchanges between businesses and educational establishments in order to promote the integration of young people.
During a time of discussion, the problem of student travel during internship periods was addressed. “To move around the territory, it is almost essential to be transported”underlined a member of the parents’ association. In response, Thierry Delaigue suggests setting up a shuttle system available to students.
Jean-Christian Rey, president of the Gard Rhone agglomeration community, expressed his enthusiasm: “It is much more difficult than you think to build bridges than to build walls. This system is very important for the territory because it contributes to its influence. »
To close this session, Thierry Delaigue and Julien Feja signed the new, updated CLEE charter. Now the goal is to implement it.
