This Thursday, November 7, 2024, Didier Deschamps announced the list of selected players for the next two meetings of the French football teamThursday November 14, 2024 facing Israeland Sunday 17 November 2024 facing theItaly. Among the six midfielders selected for these Nations League matches, appears the name of N'Golo Kanté. The French international, who currently plays for Al Ittihad Club in the Saudi Pro League, spent two seasons playing for SM Caen.

His journey with SM Caen

Officially arrived in June 2013 at Malherbe StadiumN'Golo Kanté quickly became a real midfield pillar Caen. At the end of his first season in the colors of the Mahlerbist jersey, Kanté was named to the standard team of Ligue 2, during the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Trophy ceremony.

L’former weed specialist to the great list has accumulated 63 selections with the French football team since 2016, including 56 starts. The winner of the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 shines with the French tunic, with 41 victories in total. In 2018, N'Golo Kanté notably won the World Cup with the Blues in Russia, a title which is added to the list of those already won with his respective clubs.
