In this notice to the population, it warns that following “an analysis carried out by the services of the Regional Health Agency on the distribution network of the Widehem distribution unit”, the consumption of tap water is prohibited “in the communes of Bernieulles, Cormont, Hubersent, Widehem, Lefaux and Le Turne (commune of Frencq)”.

She specifies that you should avoid using water for drinking, but also for brushing teeth, preparing food and washing raw vegetables.
“It is possible to continue to use tap water for other uses (body wash, laundry, dishes, WC)”, specifies the press release warning of the situation.
The municipalities will distribute bottles of water, two per inhabitant per day, to residents of the villages concerned.
“The distribution will take place at the town halls in Cormont, Lefaux, Hubersent, at the commune hall of Bernieulles and at the Turne school”, it is specified in the announcement, while emphasizing that the inhabitants of the communes affected by the prohibited will have to present proof of address before collecting their bottles.
