With their troupe of ten dancers “Las Idilias”, the Clermont-based Latin dance school U Shine hopes to shine its colors at the French salsa championships.
They are called “Las Idilias”. There are ten dancers from the Clermont-based association U Shine. And, under the watchful eye of their coach Marine Labrandine, they have been preparing for months for the French salsa championships which will take place on April 26 and 27, 2025 in Lyon.
But before that, Las Idilias must manage to qualify against talents from other regions, on November 9 in Nîmes.

The U Shine association, of which Las Idilias are a part, was created in Clermont-Ferrand in 2020 when, during confinement, Marine began giving solo choreographic salsa classes online. Today, it aims to make Latin dances accessible, solo or in pairs.
