At the national level, the polls were not wrong, reports -.fr. Given favorite, the list of Jordan Bardella (RN) wins these 2024 European elections in France, with around 31.5% of the votes.

20 hours. The polling stations have closed

Voting has ended everywhere in France, notably in Toulouse, where the 277 polling stations closed at 8 p.m. The counting will begin in a few minutes.

17 hours. Where is the participation rate?

At 5 p.m., the rate of participation in Haute-Garonne reaches the 47.81%, indicates the prefecture of Occitanie. Up four points compared to the previous European election. This rate was 43.97% in 2019, in the department.

12 hours. Participation rate at midday, in Haute-Garonne

The prefecture of Occitanie has just revealed the rate of participation to the mid-day in Haute-Garonne. It is established at 18.64%. Up almost two points compared to the last election.

In 2019, it was in fact 16.76% and in 2014, it reached 14.33%.

8 hours. Polling stations open, when do they close?

Polling stations open at 8 hours everywhere in the department. In almost all of the 586 municipalities of Haute-Garonne, they will be open non-stop until 18 hours.

With the exception, however, of 16 of them where the closing time of polling stations is postponed, by prefectural decree, to 20 hours. These are Toulouse and the 15 other largest cities in the department, namely:

In Haute-Garonne, according to the prefecture, there were very precisely, 952,016 registered voters on the electoral lists a few days before this European election, including 266 260 in Toulouse.

Unsurprisingly rising figures in a department with galloping demographics, since there were in 2019during previous European elections, some 895,112 voters registered, including 240 223 in Toulouse. That’s around 26,000 more voters in the Pink City.
