the essential

Organized in partnership with Committee 31, the “Amateur Rugby Trophies” return for a new edition in the department.
For the U16 player, four players were nominated by the jury. Now it's up to you to vote (at the bottom of the page)! :
Jules Rouland (16 years old, center/3rd line, RC La Saudrune)
His physical problems last year did not allow him to stay on a dual license at Stade Toulouse. No matter, Jules Rouland is fully committed to his season with La Saudrune, as his coach Sébastien Baratchart attests: “He is as passionate as you rarely get, a leader in the team, he is captain… Nowadays it is It's a rare commodity in my opinion. His time at the Stade Toulouse school made him love the game a lot. Maybe a little too much sometimes, smiles the educator, but that's good. » An essential element for La Saudrune to survive at the national level, a level that the club is discovering.
Ilan Bourdieu (16 years old, 3rd line, US Saint-Sulpice)
He also did all his training in one and the same club. It must be said that Ilan Bourdieu, flanker, has a strong history with Saint-Sulpice: “I have been playing since I was 5, like my grandfather who also played at Saint-Sulpice. It was he who gave me the passion, the desire to play. And I think I'm going to continue playing for a long time. » Despite his busy schedule (he played around twenty matches last year) he goes whenever he can to support the flag team on Sundays. And why not be part of it one day? “I would love to play senior at Saint-Sulpice. I am still very attached to the club. »
Evan Javitary (15 years old, center, US Montréjeau GP)
He is a fully developed player who plays in Montréjeau. And this comfort is undoubtedly due to his versatility: “I played in several positions at the back, flyhalf, center, back, and even one season on the wing. But I'm back at center, and it's my favorite position. » The reason is very simple, it lies in the freedom that this function provides: “We can do anything! Defend, tackle hard, advance, pass… It's a bit versatile and I like it. » His move to opening allowed him to extend his passing and vision of the game. So much the better, because his ambition for his team is limitless.
François Agu (16 years old, 3rd line, TOEC-TOAC-FCT)
This young third row will have gone through a season like he will rarely experience! François Agu, licensed with his twin brother for eleven years in the west of Toulouse, swam between XV and VII. “The VII is good because it goes quickly, there are passes but I still prefer the XV,” he says. Nevertheless: “So I played with the Coeur Toulouse gathering at VII. We were departmental sevens champion. And at XV, we, the TOEC-TOAC-FCT, were in Regional 1 in agreement with the TEC. And we were departmental champions! » Two departmental titles, and a half of the regional XV championship. It's amazing, isn't it?
