A decree was published in the Official Journal, this Tuesday, November 5, recognizing the state of natural disaster for more than 230 municipalities in the Loire, Haute-Loire, Rhône and Ardèche, after the bad weather which hit the region in mid-October.
After several days of waiting, state of natural disaster has just been recognized in the four departments of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes hit by floods and mudslideson October 17 and 18.
The decree published this Tuesday in the Official Journal concerns 53 municipalities of the Loireparticularly in the Gier valley (Saint-Chamond, L'Horme, Lorette, La Grand-Croix, Rive-de-Gier), the Pilate (Pélussin, Chavanay, Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez) and in the plain of Drill (Andrézieux-Bouthéon, Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert, Feurs, Montrond-les-Bains).
Same thing for 43 communes of Haute-Loireafter the flooding of the Loire and Lignon. Brives-Charensac, Chadrac, Les Estables, Dunières, Tence and Le Chambon-sur-Lignon are part of this list.

In the Rhôneimages of the A47 and the flooded shopping center made the rounds on social networks in Givors. She is one of the 41 communes of the department recognized as being in a state of natural disaster, just like Oullins-Pierre-Bénite, Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, Francheville, Brignais, Mornant, Condrieu, Ampuis, or even Neuville-sur-Saône and Saint-Didier-au-Mont -Golden.
Finally, in Ardechethese are 95 communes who will benefit from this recognition, notably Annonay where the town center found itself under water during these bad weather.
The victims now have 30 days from this Tuesday, November 5 to make their declaration to their insurer, if this has not already been done following the floods.
