It's a mirror day that presents itself this Tuesday in France. After a relatively calm and sunny Monday, Tuesday will start again on the same basis. Once again, fog will be present this Tuesday morning across the entire northwest quarter, from Vendée to the North. The north of Alsace will also be enveloped in a layer of mist, while the south-east of the country will wake up under bright sunshine.
Persistent cloud cover in the north
On the temperature side, the thermometer makes big differences. We expect only 6 degrees in Metz, 8 in Rouen, 11 in Paris… But almost 18 degrees in Toulouse or Pau, while Marseille and Ajaccio will offer themselves a nice 19 degrees.
In the afternoon, the weather will be sunny over a large central part of the country, while cloud cover will persist along the English Channel. Note another cloudy entry around the Mediterranean rim where the sun will give way to clouds from Perpignan to Marseille. Thunderstorms should occur around Montpellier.
Up to 23 degrees expected near Spain
Temperature-wise, the north of the country will have to make do with a little 12 in Strasbourg, Lille and Rennes, 14 degrees in Rennes or even 17 degrees in Nantes. On the southern Atlantic coast, temperatures will be good, with nearly 22 degrees expected in Bordeaux, and even 23 for Biarritz. On the other hand, along the Mediterranean coast, temperatures will not exceed 20 degrees.
Finally, the night should be clear across the entire territory, with a few patches of fog here and there expected, before Wednesday which should not differ much from Tuesday.
