The program focuses on a strengthening of nuclear power but also on the development of wind and solar power. Expected since June 2023, the consultation on multi-year energy programming and the national low-carbon strategy has finally been launched.

18 months late, is launching consultation on two texts essential to its energy and industrial trajectory: the national low carbon strategy (SNBC), which defines the general roadmap and the multi-annual energy programming (PPE), which sets the energy policy for the next ten years. A first meeting is set for 2030, with a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to 1990, before carbon neutrality in 2050.These milestones exceed the life expectancy of this government, consultation is the only way to give our objectives the means to be achieved», underlines Olga Givernet Minister Delegate for Energy. Almost all sectors are concerned: energy, transport, construction, agriculture, etc.
