Puy-de-Dôme: he kills his neighbor's dog for a completely hallucinatory reason

Relations between neighbors can sometimes be very complicated. And some people, exhausted, can be brought to do the worst. This is exactly what happened in Ambert, in Puy-de-Dôme, where a quarrel between neighbors took a tragic turn, reported The Mountain.

Sunday October 27, around 10 a.m., a 74-year-old man completely lost his temper in the face of the problematic behavior of his neighbor's dog. The septuagenarian had long criticized the canine to wander frequently and trespass on one's property. According to the man's comments, the dog attacked his poultry in particular.

Faced with the behavior of the neighbor's dog, he solves the problem in his own way

Exasperated by the situation, the man therefore decided to
solve the problem in your own way and to put an end to it which he probably hoped would be definitive. He would have grabbed a gun and, without further delay, would have shot the dog, killing it instantly.

An act which was not without consequences, since the owner of the dog, supported by his son, was quick to retaliate. A fight broke out between the three men.requiring the intervention of law enforcement to calm things down.

A shooter unknown to the police

The 74-year-old man, who was previously unknown to the police, was arrested and taken into custody by law enforcement. According to the information provided by the prosecution, the septuagenarian had no criminal record. After being interviewed by investigators, he was released in the afternoonpending the conclusions of the investigation and possible legal proceedings.

If he were to be tried for an act of cruelty leading to the death of the animal, the septuagenarian would risk a prison sentence of 5 years and a fine of 75,000 euros.
