During this long All Saints' Day weekend, which also rhymes with the end of the holidays, temperatures will remain above seasonal norms.
A sweet and calm long weekend. For these first days of November, which also mark the end of the holidays, the temperatures will be particularly mild, as often during All Saints' Day in recent years, especially in the southern half.
As the Météo France website reminds us, we have to go back to 2017 to find a day of All Saints' Day below seasonal norms by around 1 degree across the territory. However, in 2020 and 2022, November 1sts were particularly mild, almost 4°C above seasonal norms.
This year again, the junction between October and November should result in particularly mild temperatures and sunshine, especially in the south of France. The country will, however, be divided in two on Friday and Saturday.
Sunshine in the south of the country
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the southern half of the country will be able to enjoy plenty of sunshine and very mild temperatures for the season. Up to 23°C are expected in Limoges, 22°C in Tarbes or Marseille and 21°C in Ajaccio on Friday November 1st. Great sunshine also predicted for Saturday, with 22°C in Toulouse and 21°C in Nice, Montpellier or Bordeaux.
On Sunday, when the sun reaches the whole country, the maximums will go up to 22°C in Biarritz, 21°C in Ajaccio, Marseille or Aurillac.

Grayness in the North until Sunday
In the northern part of the country, the gray weather lasts until Saturday. On Friday, the country is divided into two distinct parts: sun in the south, clouds in the north, where the maximums will not exceed 16°C in Brest, 15°C in Bourges, Cherbourg or Rennes and 14°C in Tours as in Alençon. As for minimums, 11°C is expected in Reims and Chalon-sur-Saône.
A grayness which continues on Saturday although with mild temperatures: 15°C in Brest, 14°C in Nantes, Auxerre and Lille and 13°C at least in Tours and Strasbourg. On Sunday, the sun spread across France with temperatures above normal: 15°C in Cherbourg, 14°C in Rennes, Lille and Bourges.
