Since 2008, the -Maine regional natural park has offered, as part of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), agro-environmental and climatic measures (MAEC) to farmers with plots in one of the twelve Natura 2000 sites that he animates.

The 2023-2027 Pac establishes a new rule: farmers who have subscribed to MAEC must complete training during the first two years of commitment.

The park has therefore decided to offer free training to committed farmers in order to improve agricultural practices.

Two themes in the spotlight

Nine sessions have already taken place in March 2024. Six more are planned for November. Two themes are in the spotlight: the management of parasitism in grassland systems (November 5 at La Ferrière-Bochard; November 6 at Champsecret; November 13 in Saint-Léger-sur-; November 19 at the poiré museum in Barenton ) and hedge management (5 in Céaucé and 6 in Chahains).

Priority is given to farmers engaged in MAEC but training is open to all farmers in the region. Information and registration on 33 81 75 75.
