The peaceful neighborhood between the Bridges was naturally in a state of shock the day after the firearm murder of Bilal Klikel, a young man of 21, in front of the Royal kebab in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire). From dawn, the cameras of TF1 or CNews positioned themselves on Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle to interview neighbors and passers-by, giving a national dimension to this tragic news item.
