This is where all the “pawrents” (dog parents) of Shibas and Akitas will gather to begin this adventure. Place du Marché Atwater is already an emblematic place in Montreal, known for its vibrant atmosphere and colorful stalls, making it the ideal starting point for this festive stroll.
A picturesque walk along the Lachine Canal
At 1:30 p.m., the kickoff of the Shibalade will be given. Participants will follow a scenic route along the Lachine Canal to Hangar 1825, site of the Japanese market YATAI MTL. This walk is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet other dog lovers, and let your four-legged friends socialize and stretch their legs.
The competition for the most stylish Shibas and Akitas
At 4 p.m., get ready for a moment of pure joy and laughter as the most stylish Shibas and Akitas compete on stage. Whether your dog is dressed as a samurai, as an anime character or simply with his most beautiful collar, this competition is open to all participants of the Shibalade.
